Well, there's really not that much to tell. My real name is Leon, cause no one would ever call their kid fallenrogue, right? I hope not. FallenRogue is a silly name that I came up with when I started using computers in college (in the late 90s) and since the domain was available has stuck. :)
As you may have guessed I'm a programmer or developer depending on which term is cool
this week. I'm a fan of Agile practices and love Test Driven Development. My platform
of choice, when I have the ability to choose, is Ruby on Rails. I'm currently employed
at a Fortune 500 company as a developer of ASP.NET (C#) based intranet applications for
sales and marketing. I'm now a Principal Consultant with Cardinal Solutions in Cincinnati.
Ok, I've changed jobs again. I'm now on the core product team for CommunityServer
at Telligent Systems.
I have a small family which I often refer to on the site and I spend most of my free time with them, coding or playing video games. I'm really wanting a Wii, if you're thinking of getting something for me on my birthday, which is November 17th by the way... :)

I do take on projects of all shapes and sizes but only if you're willing to use Ruby on Rails for the project. I've got a day job, when I take work in the evening hours, I only use Rails.
I also provide many 100/200 level tutorials on this site. If you're interested in hiring me for a training, workshop or consultation just send me a email through the contact section of the site and we'll talk. I'm more than happy to drive a few hours in any direction and will gladly fly if you pay my way. I'm witty and fun at parties!
